Family Christmas Party

We had the Campbell side Christmas Party at our house this year, and thankfully everyone enjoyed it. With only 17 minutes, each family made a gingerbread house and here are how they turned out.

Same Old

It has been a long time! But school and work is what has kept us so busy. We're are still around and alive. Just one more week of school, then I can finally catch up on some reading and blogging :) can't wait for some free time.

Our Fun-Filled Weekend

We took the chance to go teh the Off-Road expo this year since we didn't make it last year. They had so many more things this time, but there was also so many people.. yuck! Cameron did take loads of pictures for the blog but there's too many so here's some. We had a blast!

I have also been running with my buddies. Thanks to them, I'm becoming the runner that I once was again:)
So I ran my first 5K this weekend and I want to do it again, even though I wasn't fast or did great or anything but I am very proud of myself.

Fun Stuff!!

Just a Few Updates

Here are a few things that we've forgotten to mention.

We finally ripped out the nasty weeds and such on our front walkway, and planted pretty flowers.

I managed to make a summer cake (with everything else going on= school mostly) for our end-of-the-summer-family-get-together at my parents house. I tried to make the pool the shape of my parents pool.

A while back, with the help of Robbe and Christine, finally made our headboard. It makes our bedroom look so much better :)

and the best one... I've reached my goal of losing 10 pounds this summer :)

Lots of Reading

I'm so glad to be back at school this year, I'm loving it. Though this semester I'm going to be doing lots of reading, can't believe what I got myself into:/ I hope that with the support from Cameron I can make this happen.

Besides reading all of these books, my friends and I started a book club and we're currently reading The Help byKathryn Stockett which is an amazing book. I recommend it to any other book club out there, and anyone who just wants to read something interesting. You won't want to stop reading:)

So anyone who's looking for a good book to read, this is it. This is the first novel Kathryn has written and has done wonderfully.

Got to go read some more.

Fun with Remote Control Cars

just one more thing to keep me busy!

This was the first time my mom had asked me to make a cake for her. She wanted to treat her sister on her birthday with something special. I couldn't say no. So here's one more thing to do in my busy life when I have two callings, taking 13 units this semester, dealing with the heat, working more hours this month. What more can I handle? This cake was one of the easiest I've made so it's ok, and it was a good turn out.

My mom loved it, hopefully my aunt does too, and happy birthday to her!

Back to Couponing

I ran to CVS today and I got what's shown on this picture:

24 pack Arrowhead water bottles = $3.88

Head and Shoulders shampoo= $4.99

CoverGirl eyeshadow= $5.49

CoverGirl Mascara (a fancier one, compared to the ones I've always had)= $7.00

CoverGirl Smokey Bronze eyeshadow= $7.00

Which comes to a total of= $28.36

BUT...

I'm very proud to say I got all this for only $12.27

NOT BAD:)

Wedding Cake

With lots of help from Leslie, Elders, and Sisters we made a pretty wedding cake. It turned out great for what we had to work with, the elders did mostly everything. I'm proud of them. Leslie helped a lot too! Thanks everyone!

MoValley Box Springs Mountain

My friend Doris and I hiked up to the "M" this morning. This isn't a very good picture, all I had was my phone. I didn't take a picture of us two because we were beat and exhausted. We saw a snake O_o! We were so scared but it was funny at the same time. It was pretty big. Hopefully Cameron can go with me next time.

Home Improvements

We've made a few improvements to make our home look better.

Cameron cleaned and sanded the outside lights ( they were very rusted) and painted them so they look new.

We got more clocks on our "clock wall." We need a whole lot more, but we'll get there. Thanks Erin for our new clocks!

I'm not that satisfied with their look right now but once I get more I'm sure it'll look better:)

We got new blinds for our Bedroom windows.

New hallway lights throughout the house.

We are SPOILED by Dad

Cameron's dad just made us these wonderful end tables for our bedroom. They turned out beautiful and we are enjoying them. They are the perfect size and height.

My favorite thing to do these days

is play the guitar.

Instruments are so wonderful!

I've been teaching myself how to play the guitar and so far it's coming along pretty good. I've learned to play "Love Song" by 311, "Lucky" by Jason Mraz, "Cold, Cold Heart" by Norah Jones, "I'll Love You 'till the End" forget who sings it. coldplay, and a few more. I'm enjoying it.

Happy Birthday to me!

I can't believe I didn't take any pictures. My mom threw a party for my birthday yesterday at her house. It was super fun! We had fun jumping off the diving board like crazy little kids.. We sand karaoke for the longest time ( I love karaoke for those of you who didn't know, it doesn't mean I'm a great singer though so don't get the wrong idea lol) and we danced to Just Dance on the Wii. I had a blast.I felt like a little kid, or younger than I really am. Loads of thanks to my family!!!

I got a nice stereo for my car from Cameron, I got a guitar from my Uncle Mike and yet another guitar from my parents, isn't that crazy!

I got some nice shirts and necklaces and lotions and movies and gift cards

I feel so Blessed to have such a wonderful family!

Boys will be Boys

Cameron recently got together with my sister's boyfriend Danny and my brother Ryan and had fun launching some rockets. They also drove RC cars.

2 years!

Cameron and I have been married two years on the 19th. We decided to keep it simple, so for breakfast we had our favorite brakefast burritos from Jack's (not jack in the box). Then I did have to go to my class which only took 2 hrs of the day so it was ok (i really had to be in class that day). Then we went to Fast Lane, did some fun go-kart racing. One of the races it was just him and me so that was fun. Then we just walked around Ontario Mills Mall. For dinner we got Chinese food (which we love) and took it home to eat while watching a redbox. After the movie and a short 15min nap we went to the roller skating rink, we are recently into roller blading for Cameron i have skates so we were very excited to do that! I didn't fall at all this time! YAY! After that we got ice cream and home to bed.

We were up and ready to go at 8:00 am and were done with the day at 11:00 pm, it was a very long day but super fun and simple.

I am so happy with Cameron, I love him very much and can't wait for the rest of our lives together!

Cam's B-Day

Cameron just had a birthday! He had Sushi for the first time, ate at a yummy BBQ place here in town, got a super sweet caramel cake with caramel frosting, and received some tools and sweets candies.

Husqvarna

We just bought our first lawn mower. It's a Husqvarna with a 160cc Honda engine 6.75 horsepower. It's not fancy but it works, it starts up easily and it's pretty:)

We've been braking it in! Haven't mowed the lawn yet but can't wait to do so.

Our Home

This is where we are living now, in Moreno Valley. We are loving it, and enjoying it. It feels a little to big for just the two of us but we'll get use to it. We finally got internet too, which is why it took me forever to blog.

We are finally settled in our new place. After a month of delays we are finally at what was supposed to happen a month ago. We are loving Mo Valley! I'll be posting pictures soon. Thanks to my parents we are now able to live in a HOUSE! (even though it's where i've lived for 8 years of my life, it feels like a different house with all of our stuff in it) Come visit whenever!
