This is our Christmas Card Photo. Derek is just under 5 months at this point. He kept sticking his tongue out, but soon got a few pictures where he wasn't showing his tongue.

Santa
Derek met Santa for the first time last night! He didn't cry, but maybe because he didn't really look at him.
I don't know what Mrs. Claus was trying to do here... ha ha
I was able to get in a picture with them too!
We're just so excited to have a little boy to share this Christmas season with, it makes this time of year so much better.
Mission Inn
We took Derek to the Mission Inn to see the Christmas lights for the first time. He was so calmly starring at everything and everyone around while riding in his stroller.
This shows what he looked like the whole time we were there.
These pictures didn't come out great but at least we have something. Maybe next year he'll show more excitement at how many lights there are.

Five Months
Our Little Derek is five months today.
Last time he saw the doctor's was a few weeks ago and he weighed 14 lbs 11 oz.
He measured 25 inch then.
He's becomes such a wiggler, he almost wiggled out of the bath tub the other day.
We can tell he's just ready to run around.
He loves visitors :)
Anything his hands find go straight to his mouth.
He still hates the car seat and car rides :(
He loves his Abuelitos and Grandparents!
He only wakes up once at night to eat, except when he's sick.
He loves looking at books, though it is time for some new ones (mommy's tired of reading the same ones)
Peek-a-boo is fun now
He's now splashing in the bath tub, I love it!
He has a favorite toy now.
We love him so much!
Can't wait for his first Christmas!!
