Thirty-Two Weeks

I am 32 weeks today and I thought I'd share my thoughts:

-Time seems to go by slower now because of how excited I am.

-On my last ultrasound I was told the baby weighs about 3 pounds, and his head is down, hopefully he'll just stay that way for me to push him out when the time comes.

-My ribs now dig into my uterus when I sit, so I can't sit for long periods of time :(

-Weird Craving (which I can't satisfy): dry dog food, I would just love to serve me some with milk and eat it like cereal.

-Everybody comments on how big my belly is getting.

-I do like people knowing I'm pregnant, but I don't like the stares from college students.

-I have enough newborn clothes for this baby, thanks to my mom I don't have to worry about buying newborn clothes.

-We finally have a car seat and stroller, so he'll be safe to bring him home from the hospital.

-I keep building my collection of Dr. Suess books to read to our son .. YAY!

- I am getting tired of the same maternity clothes and sunday dresses.

-We took a tour of the Hospital that I will be delivering, that was kinda fun!

-I love when Cameron talks to our son through my belly, even if he does talk to him about cars.

-We do have a few names picked out, at least we've done some progress.

-I'm way excited about all the new babies this year, from ladies in our ward, cousins, friends.

-Leg cramps, heartburn aren't fun!

-I can't wait to just sit and stare at our baby as much as I want, anytime I want.

Eight more weeks!

As promised these are some of our ultrasound pictures. Some I didn't post some of the other ones only because they look very similar to some of these. So this is our little one! Can't wait to meet him in 10 weeks!

We found out we were having a boy at 17 weeks but they never really showed us, so this time I asked if I could get a picture of his parts! He sure is a boy:)

Update

Well you all know I'm a terrible blogger. I thought nobody really read our blog but some people have been asking for a new post so here it is. Thanks to all who read our blog!

This is me at 29 weeks.

I have started my 3rd Trimester.

Our baby boy just keeps growing inside of me everyday, and kicking so much. The kicking reassures us that he is doing well.

It's annoying to know he's literally with me at all times but I haven't seen him yet-besides an ultrasound.

We are going crazy about what he will look like.

Cameron's been amazing about all this, he's helping out all the time and giving me compliments;) Good news is I'm at the perfect weight gain so far, even though I look like I've gained 35 lbs by now.

Bad news: sleeping is getting a lot harder, same with getting out of bed, and reaching my feet to tie my shoe or paint my toe nails.

Oh and my hips sure let me know when I've overdone it for the day.

Thanks to some great friends I haven't had to spend too much on maternity clothes.

I do enjoy being pregnant.

I'm glad I've stayed busy with school, for it helps time go by so much faster (springs break was horrible)

Dad has started working on the cradle!

Bad news: we don't have a name yet :(

This is and has been a very happy time in our lives, we know it'll just get better when he arrives.

Can't find anything else to say, perhaps if you ask questions I can answer those on the next post. I'll be posting ultrasound pictures soon. I promise.

He'll be missed

We've noticed lately that our pet turtle Lucky was acting very weak. The last time we gave him fish he didn't have the strength to go after them, so i would have to kill the fish and feed it to him. He continued to be weak. We tried to give him some lettuce and he wouldn't eat it either. Just last night, Lucky died and Cameron had to bury him in our backyard, we were both surprised. Cameron got this turtle when he was 10 yrs old, when he was the size of a quarter. He had been in Cameron's life for almost 15 yrs, and in mine for 3. We're sure it must have been his time to go, we'll miss him making noise in his tank upstairs.

We Have A Baby On The Way!

This is very old news but Cameron and I are finally expecting our first baby! We were super excited when we found out that we couldn’t hold the news from at least our immediate families. My parents were stoked and still are, making sure I’m taking care of myself for the baby’s sake. This will be the first time my parents become grandparents, so to let them know we made my little brother Ryan a shirt that said, “I will be an uncle July 2011” my mom was the first to read it and started screaming, then came Rosy’s loud screaming, my dad still hadn’t read the shirt while they were going crazy, when he finally saw it he totally understood. We are so excited to become parents and can’t wait to meet our baby. I am 14 weeks and have been over my morning sickness for a few weeks now, which is great. I still gag here and there but it’s nothing like it used to be. I’m not showing a baby bump yet but I am showing a bloat bump, and it drives me insane, I just look like I gained what I lost not too long ago. We’ve heard our baby’s heart beat and seem it kicking and stretching through the ultrasound. Unfortunately, I don’t have a scanner to post the pictures and my OB always seems to pause the picture at the wrong time. But thankfully Cameron has been there every time so he’s seen everything I’ve seen, and not just what the picture shows. We can’t thank our Heavenly Father enough for this chance we have to carry our baby and build the kingdom of God by allowing another member into our eternal family. We feel so happy, and closer to each other, we didn’t know we could feel any closer. I love that Cameron shows so much excitement for this new chapter we’re starting together, I am just beaming right now :)
